Fadia – Legal Manager
Fadia’s job is essential within the company: she protects Quo Vadis‘ interests by working hand in hand with the various departments. In this interview, she tells us about the workings of her profession.

Fadia, you are Legal Manager at Quo Vadis. Can you tell us about your job?
I am responsible for protecting the company’s interests in its relations with other companies, as well as advising our different departments in their decision-making so that they draw up projects in accordance with applicable regulations.
I ensure that the company’s goals and the regulations that apply to it are relevant.
What are your missions during a typical working day?
I draft licensing agreements that we sign with our partners, I review contracts proposed by our clients, I carry out trademark searches when creating a new range to make sure we don’t infringe on the rights of third parties, I draw up the rules of competitions for communication campaigns, I exchange with our lawyers in the event of litigation, and so on.
What is your daily challenge?
Protecting the company and in particular its intellectual property.
What motivates you, brings you enjoyment every day in your work?
I enjoy advising the various departments of the company and explaining the legal rules that apply to their projects.
What are the qualities and skills you need to be a Legal Manager?
First of all, you need to have good knowledge of business law, and be thorough, a good teacher, good at negotiating, and enjoy working with others!
What did you want to be when you were a child?
A wild animal trainer!
